  • Category Advertising on TV, Radio & Print escalated by 3%, 161%  and 69% respectively during Jul-Sep '16 compared to Jul-Sep '15.

Media wise contribution of Ad Insertions in Oral Hygiene

  • TV covered major part of the Pie with 94% share of Category Ad Insertions.

Monthly Trends based on Ad Insertions in Oral Hygiene

  • More than half of category Ad Insertions in Print were recorded in the month of Sep ’16.

Categories of Oral Hygiene

  • Tooth Pastes Category topped on TV, Radio and Print with 88%, 70% and 84% shares of Oral Hygiene advertising respectively.
  • On Radio and Print, Oral Hygiene Range was on the 2nd position with 28% and 15% share respectively.

Top 10 Advertisers of Oral Hygiene

  • Hindustan Unilever Ltd , Glaxo Smithkline Pvt Ltd, Dabur India Ltd and Vicco Laboratories were among the Top 10 advertisers on all the mediums.

New Brands of Oral Hygiene during Jul-Sep ΓΆ€™16

  • K P Namboodiri Aloe Vera Herbal Tooth Paste was present in the list of new brands on both TV and Print.

Top 10 Program Genres on TV for Oral Hygiene

  • Feature Films was the top Program Genre with 26% share of Category advertising on TV followed by News Bulletin with 16% share.

Advertising Promotions of Oral Hygiene in Print

  • Brand Promotion covered 68% of the Pie followed by Sales Promotion with 32% share of Oral Hygiene Ad volumes.
  • Among Sales Promotions, Add on Promotion was on top with 46% share of Category advertising in Print closely followed by Volume Promotion with 41% share.

Zone, Language and City wise Advertising share of Oral Hygiene in Print

  • Mumbai topped the list of cities with 3% share of Category advertising in Print.
  • Hindi was the top Ad Language with 46% share of Category advertising in Print.

State wise Advertising share on Radio for Oral Hygiene

  • Maharashtra was on top with 33% share of Category Ad volumes on Radio followed by Uttar Pradesh with 17% share.
